Therapy

One-to-one sessions where we take time to focus on you and the things impacting your life.

 

Sessions are 50-60 minutes and as frequently as you need.

Couples
Therapy

Couples sessions focus on the relationship, with the intention of enhancing conflict resolution and communication skills and strengthening the sense of connection.

Based on the Gottman Method and other therapies.

 

Sessions are 60-90 minutes.

Group
Therapy

Group therapy sessions focus on specific therapeutic issues and provide the opportunity for increased support and encouragement. Additionally, they help with reducing the experiences of shame and feeling alone.

 

Sessions are typically 1-2 hours and run weekly for 6-8 weeks.

Mindfulness
Workshops

These workshops focus on providing education and experience in specific practices and topics.

 

Sessions are typically 1-1.5 hours and run weekly for 6-8 weeks.

Some 30 minute drop-in workshops available.

My Approach

I use a variety of therapy approaches tailored to best assist you through your struggles, be it the pain of mental illness, addiction, toxic shame, relationship issues, life stress, or trauma. Whether you're simply looking for a safe place to feel heard and understood or you're wanting to create meaningful changes in your life, we will work together to help you achieve your goals.

 

By using a compassionate, attuned, and personal approach, my hope is that you feel you have someone right there with you through your mental wellness journey. Because we’re not designed to do this alone.

About me

I hold a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, and a Certified Healing Shame Practitioner and I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists.

 

I have over 11 years of experience working with addiction and mental health struggles and often see toxic shame as an underlying reason why many people continue to suffer more than needed.
